The Maria Leuff Foundation is pleased to announce an exhibition of works by Marie Angeletti, Gordon Matta-Clark, Cyprien Gaillard, Phill Niblock, and Daniel Turner. The works on view are structured by a shared treatment of the moving image as a durational medium, governed by a limited set of actions and material conditions.

​Marie Angeletti was born in 1984 in Marseille, France. Her work has been exhibited at Kölnischer Kunstverein, Cologne, Germany; Le Consortium, Dijon, France; Kunsthalle Wien, Vienna, Austria; Kunstverein in Hamburg, Hamburg, Germany; and the Musée d’Art moderne de Paris, Paris, France.

Gordon Matta-Clark (1943–1978) was born in New York City. His work has been exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, Chicago; the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, Netherlands; the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo, Japan; and the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York.

​Cyprien Gaillard was born in 1980 in Paris, France. His work has been exhibited at Fondation LUMA, Arles, France; Haus der Kunst, Munich, Germany; K20 Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen, Düsseldorf, Germany; MoMA PS1, New York; the Palais de Tokyo, Paris, France; and the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles.

Phill Niblock (1933–2024) was born in Anderson, Indiana. His work has been exhibited at the Centre Pompidou, Paris, France; the Contemporary Art Centre, Lausanne, Switzerland; the Museum of Modern Art, New York; Pirelli HangarBicocca, Milan, Italy; and Tate Modern, London, United Kingdom.

Daniel Turner was born in 1983 in Portsmouth, Virginia. His work has been exhibited at Kunsthalle Basel, Basel, Switzerland; Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens, Deurle, Belgium; the Musée de l’Orangerie, Paris, France; the Musée des Arts Contemporains Grand-Hornu, Hornu, Belgium; and the Chinati Foundation, Marfa, Texas.
